Get the Somo app on your phone

Install Somo

Takes about three seconds. No Play Store account, no charges, and it uses almost no storage.

Add Somo to your iPhone

Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari, the square with an arrow pointing up.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add in the top right. Somo now sits on your home screen.

This only works in Safari on iPhone. If you are reading this in Chrome or inside WhatsApp, tap the three dots and choose Open in Safari first.

Somo is already installed

You are running Somo as an app right now. Look for the Somo icon on your home screen next time.

Ask Somo a question

Open Somo

Start using Somo now

Somo works straight in your browser. To keep it on your home screen, open your browser menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app.

What you get

🎓Built for CBC, not generic AI. Somo answers against the KICD curriculum, in the language of the Kenyan classroom.

💬English or Kiswahili. Ask however your child is most comfortable asking.

🔢Step by step. It works a problem through rather than just handing over the answer.

📱Light on data and storage. There is no large download, so it installs fine on a modest phone.

🎁Free to start. Use it free, and upgrade only if you want the higher daily question limit.
